Intel 965This is a Intel Northbridge Features
|
Linux support
This chipset is supported by recent 2.4 and 2.6 kernels
Ubuntu has supported 3D acceleration with this chipset since Hardy (8.04). Prior versions disabled compiz by default.
Direct OpenGL Rendering works, but rendered to the framebuffer, causing flickering. There is a fix coming out for this "soon". see here
Certain features of Compiz Fusion are not supported by the current driver (Hardy 8.04), such as "Color filter" and some blur effects. (details here)
To invert screen palette
If, for some reason, you wish to invert the colors on your screen, Compiz Fusion's "Negative" filter does not work, so you can instead use the following command:
xcalib -i -a
