CardBus Linux support
This chip emulates the older Ricoh R5C476-II for CardBus functionality.
This function is supported by recent 2.4 and 2.6 kernels
FireWire Linux support
Hint:
Not all ThinkPads with this chip have the FireWire function enabled, so if you don't have the FireWire ports, you will not see it listed in lspci either.

SD/SDIO/MMC support
Hint:
This function is only supported on the X41 and X41 Tablet ThinkPads. Other ThinkPads with this chip have the SD/SDIO/MMC function disabled, so if you will not see it listed in lspci.
