Installing Arch Core 2008 on a ThinkPad T60

Specs

Here are the specs of the model used for this tutorial (I've left out modem, infrared, cardbus since I haven't ever used them):

For this installation I used Arch Core 2008.6, version i686. You can get the image on the Arch download page. Download it and burn it onto a CD.

I basically followed the instructions of the ArchWiki.
