The page doesn't specify whether the adapter supports IDE or SATA devices. Would be a useful detail if anyone knows. (I'm trying to add a 2.5" SATA drive to my ThinkPad A30.)
It does not say, because this is a very old adapter and SATA did not exist back then. In other words it is a PATA device.
