I had to make a "fresh install" on my box and, to cut the long story short, my kernel config got lost in the process. Since then i've spent two nights trying to work out a new config for my box, without success. I only got it to boot with genkernel-2.6.31 and 2.6.27 running your config, otherwise I get kernel panic on startup. However, in both cases i can't get my Ethernet to work. (it shows up as eth0 with your old (2.6.27) config but when dhcpcd is run on it, it receives some dummy address (169.194(...)), which is obviously wrong). I (and dr Google as well :D) have run out of ideas of what might be wrong in my kernel config.

Do you use the 2.6.31 kernel? If so, could you please post your config here or (preferably) e-mail it to me at wojciechwasko [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com??

2.6.31 kernel config request

Hello,

I'm trying to contact you through your "discussion" page, as mentioned on your profile page.

I'm a regular Gentoo user, using this wonderful OS on my R61 for 2 years now. However, I've run into some big problem.

I would be so thankfull..
