T43p 2668 WTD owner slackware linux 10.2 installed

  • kernel 2.6.15 with patches for

-software suspend2, -hdaps_protect,

  • Other "features"
    • fglrx
    • madwifi
    • spca5xx (video cam)
  • Problems encountered
    • high pitch noises - removed by disabling ACPI S4 state
    • when resuming from hibernation the lcd gradually turns white until the resume is complete. From that poing it works fine - temporary solution, quickly hit fn-F7 (before resume begins) to redirect video away from lcd,
