Using the UltraBay Slim battery for hot-swapping the system battery

When the UltraBay Slim battery is inserted and charged, the system battery can be hot-swapped (i.e., replaced without the need to reboot, hibernate or use an external power adapter). However, the laptop will completely deplete the UltraBay battery before using its system battery, so to make hot-swapping useful you'll need to keep the UltraBay Slim battery outside the UltraBay during normal battery-powered usage. The complete depletion of the Ultrabay battery also reduces its lifetime.

Help needed
It may be possible to control which battery is discharged using the tp_smapi module. If you have an Ultrabay battery, please test the dual-battery operation of tp_smapi and report your results to its author or on the discussion page.
