Does anyone know why the PC speaker beep doesn't have its own volume control? Why So D*mn*d Loud?
Does anyone know why the PC speaker beep doesn't have its own volume control? The only way to turn it down is via the volume up/down keys on the keyboard, but that turns everything down.
Is there a secret mixer in there somewhere? Has anyone discovered any software control over it at all?
