Lenovo has published a Modem driver for SUSE Linux that is made for certain models. For Example the {{T61p}} Modell [[6460-EBG]] has this driver listed. This Model then uses the [[ThinkPad 56K Modem (MDC-1.5)]].

According to the readme file the driver is a hsfmodem driver.
