I have just installed the last beta of Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) on my ThinkPad T30.
- At first the T30 took three minutes to boot and "ps" showed that several modprobe commands were hung in "D" state? The solution was to blacklist the airo module.
- System|Preferences|Screen Resolution doesn't detect a monitor connected to the DVI output of the port expander and doesn't display the correct resolution. The xrandr command does seem to work properly.
