Ultrabay Slim DVD Multi-Burner III

This is an DVD writer for the Ultrabay Slim with a flat bezel compatible with, for example, the UltraBase X6.

Also known as

The catalog describes this item as a "ThinkPad Ultrabay Slim DVD Burner" but the drive itself has a label which reads "Lenovo DVD MULTI", followed by the optical drive symbol, followed by "III". See photo below.
