Before Installation
- Get the Boot CD/DVD from the sidux homepage
- Enable the DVD Drive as Boot Device in Thinkpad Bios (if applicable)
Now you can boot your Live-CD:
- Use the Boot cheatcode
screen=1680x1050
if you want to have sidux run the displays native resolution directly.
What works out of the Box
- USB
- Mouse
- Keyboard
- Intel Gigabit Ethernet Controller
- Bluetooth
- Intel driver for Integrated Graphics (Intel Integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD)
- with 3D acceleration out-of-the-box (?)
- VGA output - mirrored, other not fixed yet (?)
- Touchpoint and Trackpad
- Including scroll at the right side and on teh bottom of the pad by default.
