Ok, that's very good. I have this modem on my laptop, and also have the problem with it. I tried to limit connection speed to 33600 by appending the following AT command: +MS=V34. Looks like good, but slow :-( And very simple to change V34 to V90: AT+MS=V90, and have very good connection up to 54 kbit/s (with my line).
