Overview

I got this laptop for school about Six months ago and after enough with Windows I thought I would install Fedora Core on the system. My exact model is 2652-AU2 Here are the hardware specs.

  • P3-M 1GHz (512KB L2)
  • 256MB RAM
  • 20.0GB HDD
  • 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD
  • 8X DVD
  • LS-120 Super Drive
  • 10/100 LAN
  • D-Link D650 WiFi Card
  • Interfaces: serial, parallel, IrDA, RGB, TV-out, audio in/out/microphone, modem (RJ11), Ethernet (RJ45), 2x PCMCIA, 2x USB1.1

Hardware support

Most Of the hardware is supported by Linux. This includes This includes the graphics chip, Intel's SpeedStep, APM (suspend to RAM, suspend to disk), sound, modem, IrDA, ThinkPad specific function keys, the TrackPoint, Ethernet and PCMCIA and USB.
