Specific installation notes for the ThinkPad 570.
General Notes
If you don't have a CD-ROM solution, please look at Installation on ThinkPads without CD-ROM drive.
ACPI work quite well with the latest bios (v1.16) provided by IBM (tested with kernel 2.6.14.2) including parts of ibm-acpi.
