Hi,

I must ask, what is the point of listing partnumbers and posting internal pictures of the LCD display panel? Normally I would have objected to placing an LCD panel picture on a page meant to talk about a video controller, but in this rare case the video controller is only used in 2 model ThinkPads, the 350 (with a Monochrome!! panel), and the 350C.

For the FDD partnumbers, a pointer to the HMM (Hardware Maintenance Manual) would be more helpful.

Having a P/N for the display is helpful when doing repairs, but a picture "is worth a thousand words". It helps identify that a replacement part is an exact match or a close enough match to work since you can get a quick estimate of bezel size, where the video and power connections lead into the display, etc.

I put the LCD photo on the controller page because someone else started with the LCD info. Since I am new to wiki editing I could not figure out how to add a new article and categorize it specifically for this LCD. Same with the FDD.

Off topic- How the heck do I add a new article and put it in the proper category? I don't see an "add article" resource anywhere on ThinkWiki.
