IBM UltraConnect Antenna

UltraConnect Antenna

When IBM enabled their builtin notebook antennas to support the 802.11a and 802.11g as well as the 802.11b wireless networking standard, they rebranded them as UltraConnect antenna.

The UltraConnect Antennas are built into the top corners of the ThinkPads display and are connected to a network controller in the ThinkPads MiniPCI slot.
