Installing Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) on a ThinkPad T60

Ubuntu Feisty Fawn is still in development (aka a beta version) and appears not ready for installation (as of January 12, 2007). In particular, on a 2007-72U the installer crashed - see bug report. The next beta releases are planned for February 1st and 15th, respectively (see Feisty Release Schedule). The final release is planned for April 19th 2007.
