<p>Help requested with install of ubuntu 7.04 Fiesty on a new Lenvo T61</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Hello all,<br /> <br /> Fristly I'm a noobie --so please excuse my ignorance --but I'm determined to use ubuntu and be a member of this community --so thanks in advance! <br /> <br /> I just purchased a new lenovo /IBM T! thinkpad and am trying to install 7.04 Fiesty on it. This is my first expereince with installing 7.04 and it's not going well. I'm disapointed --thought it would just work like in the past. <br /> <br /> Upon a restart from windooze the DVD boots and begins the install just fine then stops completey displaying the folllwing message:<br /> <br /> [B][INDENT][INDENT]<br /> BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3ubuntu#) built-in Shell (ash)<br /> Enter &quot;help&quot; fora list of built in commands&quot;<br /> <br /> /bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off<br /> (initrmfs) _<br /> [/INDENT][/INDENT][/B]<br /> <br /> Any advice about how to proceed from here would be greatly appreciated!
