Power & battery charging

New page

To charge the batteries on a 730T, only use the original IBM power supply, P/N 66G9523
Using another supply will probably blow an internal SMD fuse in the 730T

If would appear that when the 730T wants to charge battery's, they are simply switched
strait across the power pack's output, with the power pack controlling the current.
Other power packs/bricks will not correctly control the current.

If you would like to run a 730T from another source of power (12V car battery etc), then
first REMOVE BOTH BATTERIES.
