Intel HD5500 very badly supported by Xorg's intel driver. Workaround: Use modesetting driver.

If you do have to use the intel driver, use AccelMethod "none" to prevent some crashes, but then xv won't work either. One user reported success using SNA, but another user recommended to avoid it like the plague.
