Problems encountered
- high pitch noises - removed by disabling ACPI S4 state
- when resuming from hibernation the lcd gradually turns white until the resume is complete. From that point it works fine -- temporary solution, quickly hit fn-F7 (before resume begins) to redirect video away from lcd,
