I haven't found a way to make the old links work so I added links to the model selector pages. The only reason I haven't wiped all the old links is JUST IN CASE there's some useful information embedded there (such as model number abbreviations). Otherwise I say it's begging to be simplified and maybe combined with the other BIOS pages. Twt (talk) 18:58, 21 February 2015 (CET)

:Good.  Please do not cull 'dead links' to Lenovo or IBM.  Let them stand, so the world can see how much documentation has been withdrawn by IBM, Lenovo.  It is possible, however unlikely, that the documentation and articles eventually might be restored, and old addresses redirect to new locations.--Numeric (talk) 19:43, 21 February 2015 (CET)

BIOS links are all bad

Apparently Lenovo broke the old IBM support URLs completely so none of the BIOS links here work. Twt (talk) 16:41, 21 February 2015 (CET)

Strangely enough, the LAST link on the page, identifying a way to identify a machine by its BIOS, DOES still work.... Twt (talk) 16:53, 21 February 2015 (CET)

Good.

BIOS update on x200 w/o Windows?

I'm looking for a way to update the BIOS of my new x200, which is running 64bit GNU/Linux exclusively. I don't have a dock/external CD driver. Is there a way to do the update without installing Microsoft Windows to my hard driver or obtaining a suitable CD drive? --Colo 23:18, 16 December 2008 (CET)
