Lenovo has published a Modem driver for SUSE Linux that is made for certain models. For Example the T61p Modell 6460-EBG has this driver listed. This Model then uses the ThinkPad 56K Modem (MDC-1.5).
According to the readme file the driver is a hsfmodem driver.
The Modem driver for SUSE Linux can be found on the Lenovo Homepage with the Document Identification MIGR-69134. It is an RPM Package.
