  1. According to IBM specs the G40 featured 2.8 and 3.0 GHz Pentium 4 processors with 400 MHz front side bus. It is hard to find any references to the existence of such processors at all. Tread this information as highly uncertain. Also, there's a possibility that the G40s used Mobile Pentium 4-M processors instead of Pentium 4.
