I've made one half-hearted attempt to get openSUSE 10.3 Beta 2 up and running on my Thinkpad T61p without much luck. During the install process, if you allow it to autoupdate from on-line repositories it gets stuck in a seemingly endless list of conflicts. Otherwise if you deny it access to the internet, it runs but extremely slowly. It's not clear what is dragging it down.
