Install sidux 2008-03 (Ουρέα) on a ThinkPad T500

T500 Site under construction. You are invited building an useful guidance!

Before Installation

• Get the Boot CD/DVD from the sidux homepage
• Enable the DVD Drive as Boot Device in Thinkpad Bios (if applicable)

Now you can boot your Live-CD:

• Use the Boot cheatcode screen=1680x1050 if you want to have sidux run the displays native resolution directly.

What works out of the Box

• USB
  • Mouse
  • Keyboard
• Intel Gigabit Ethernet Controller
• Bluetooth
• Intel driver for Integrated Graphics (Intel Integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD)
  • with 3D acceleration out-of-the-box (?)
  • VGA output - mirrored, other not fixed yet (?)
• Touchpoint and Trackpad
  • Including scroll at the right side and on teh bottom of the pad by default.
