Although, the [http://www.smlink.com/ Smartlink] driver for Agere modems is able to communicate with the modem via AT commands, it cannot dial out (contradicting reports welcome!).

  • Integrated Bluetooth III with 56K Modem, Actiontec

Linux Bluetooth driver

This card will work with the standard Linux Bluetooth drivers.

This device is implemented as a USB device, you might be able to enabled or disabled it with the FnF5 key combination (or: echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/thinkpad_acpi/bluetooth_enable)

Linux modem driver

See Conexant HSF modem drivers.

Problems

There is an issue regarding connectivity with this softmodem, likely due an outdated K56flex firmware. See Need to disable 56K modem speed for a workaround.
