Purpose:
Explain what must be done to support some Thinkpad specific hardware on Kubuntu 10.4 (Lucid Lynx)

Background:

I was quite begruding to do so, but I eventually decided to give Lucid Lynx a go. I must say I'm quite impressed with the hardware support out-of-the-box. Some things that I had working in Gentoo still need to be setup, however so I will document what must be done to support some of the hardware (eg. fingerprint scanner, APS, etc).
