ThinkPad S series

The S series was developed as a direct successor of the discontinued 200 series, but after Lenovo's re-introduction in 2012, it was considered a small branch-off of the E series.

The early IBM models were smaller than the X series equivalent, and still had the same 7-row keyboard in a smaller casing. Although, the keyboard caused a minor overhang on the left and the right side.
