=== NOT supported with ===
*[[UltraBase X4]], [[ThinkPad X4 Dock]]

=== A note on capacity ===
The capacity of this battery is 1.5Ah. For comparison, in the ThinkPad T40 series, the 6-cell system battery has a capacity of 4.8Ah and the 9-cell system battery holds 7.2Ah. Thus, the UltraBay battery provides only a small improvement in total charge capacity. However, it makes it possible to swap the system battery without the need to reboot, hibernate or use an external power adapter.

Hei,

i don't like the idea of including large scale pictures for everything. While i can see the benefits of it, i think it wastes too much server space.

I want to ask for other peoples opinions here. I'd recommend including only small scale pictures comparable in size and style to the ones included in the model categories or like on the UltraBay Plus Devices pages.

What's other peoples opinions?
=== Configuration ===

==== For WPA-PSK ====
*Edit {{path|wpa_supplicant.conf}}:

#
#wpa_supplicant.conf
#
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
# ap_scan=2 was the one for me you may try 0 or 1 indstead of 2
ssid=""
proto=WPA
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
pairwise=TKIP
group=TKIP
psk=
}

You have to change the values according to the response of {{cmdroot|wpa_passphrase <yourAPssid> <yourpassphrase>}}.

=== Starting wpa_supplicant ===
Make sure that the modules ath_pci, ath_hal, ath_rate_sample, wlan, wlan_tkip and wlan_xauth are loaded (using {{cmdroot|lsmod}}).

Now you are able to start wpa_supplicant by
:{{cmdroot|wpa_supplicant -d -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -iath0 -Dmadwifi}}
If every thing works as expected, you can replace -d by -B for the deamon mode.

====Bringing up the network card manually====
*Bring up the network interface with {{cmdroot|ifconfig ath0 <yourip> up}}.
{{NOTE|1=At the moment there is a problem within the madwifi driver or wpa_supplicant passing dhcp. That´s why I use a fixed IP.
*Edit the {{path|.config}} file in the source directory according to your wlan driver (see driver section)

* install wpa_supplicant by {{cmdroot|make && make install}}

=== Configuration ===

==== For WPA-PSK ====
*Edit {{path|wpa_supplicant.conf}}:

#
#wpa_supplicant.conf
#
ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=0
eapol_version=1
# ap_scan=2 was the one for me you may try 0 or 1 indstead of 2
ap_scan=2
fast_reauth=1
network={
ssid=""
proto=WPA
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
pairwise=TKIP
group=TKIP
psk=
}

You have to change the values according to the response of {{cmdroot|wpa_passphrase <yourAPssid> <yourpassphrase>}}.

=== Starting wpa_supplicant ===
Make sure that the modules ath_pci, ath_hal, ath_rate_sample, wlan, wlan_tkip and wlan_xauth are loaded (using {{cmdroot|lsmod}}).

Now you are able to start wpa_supplicant by
:{{cmdroot|wpa_supplicant -d -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -iath0 -Dmadwifi}}
If every thing works as expected, you can replace -d by -B for the deamon mode.

====Bringing up the network card manually====
*Bring up the network interface with {{cmdroot|ifconfig ath0 <yourip> up}}.
{{NOTE|At the moment there is a problem within the madwifi driver or wpa_supplicant passing dhcp. That´s why I use a fixed IP.
*Change the routes and add the default gateway.
